Was on the laptop, working, and it just switched itself off. Is that normal?
Hopefully only the battery is empty…
Ne that was on 100%
This can have several reasons:
battery empty
An update was running in the background and the PC restarts after the update is complete.
In your settings you have an automatic shutdown after a certain time.
That thing is just mean. Can happen.
Probably too much overworked, a little overheated. It's nothing unusual, depends on the PC and the programs.
Can have many reasons.
It occurs to me spontaneously:
Power supply is no longer sufficient - but should not occur with a notebook. If so, it could be a weak battery
Too hot so that the maximum temperature set in the BIOS is exceeded. This shouldn't actually happen either (throttles beforehand), but it can happen if someone has thwarted or expanded the safety precautions. Or something is broken, which leads to the error.
battery empty
You can also actively set it
Windows wanted to install updates and you waited too long to do so
