Uninstalls Windows Defender. Help, how do I get it back on the laptop?
Hello. My little cousin was there and was playing on my laptop. After that everything was totally laggy and he said he hadn't done anything, but there was an automatically deleted .rar file in Chrome. He apparently carried it out anyway, whatever. As I said, everything is completely laggy, a cmd window opens when booting, Windows Defender is gone (lol?) And I can no longer run the Task Manager. 😫
Lock your laptop with a password. So that something like that doesn't happen in the future.

It looks like another virus scanner (Kaspersky e.c.) was on it and would now be uninstalled. Windows Defender can't be deleted. Check the settings to get it reactivated, or contact Microsoft support. If there are children at the PC again, you should install the drive.keeper from dtm-systems. This makes every computer indestructible.
That's rubbish! Windows Security Essential was the previous version of Windows Defender! Windows Defender is still being developed!
