Yesterday I tried to solve a problem on my laptop (the integrated webcam was not recognized). In the course of this I have among other things Tried to update the camera driver. After that I wanted to restart the laptop, but that didn't work and I just had to stall it using the on / off switch (so I don't know if the camera is working again or if the driver was installed correctly).
I wanted to turn it on this morning, but it no longer starts properly and says that Windows can't start properly (error message System Thread not handled).
I read online that this error message appears to appear frequently in connection with faulty driver software.
I tried to start Windows in safe mode to save my data and to uninstall the driver if necessary. However, the laptop crashes when safe mode starts.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do? Or how can I at least back up my files? Unfortunately, I didn't do that before the driver update because I have never had such massive problems after an update.
You could get to the data by connecting the hard drive to another laptop using an adapter.
Make Linux Live CD or Linux Stick, start your PC with it, save data, reinstall… Or stay with Linux.
Could try backing up files with a Windows 10 boot stick. But you have to create it with another computer.
Ignoring the title haha has been for a completely different topic.
Until 4:39 you would have to follow the same steps, from then simply click on the files with a right click and go to copy, then back to the hard disk selection and then copy the files to an inserted USB stick.
