I have a little problem with my samsung laptop. When I start my laptop, Windows won't start. The laptop starts, the fan starts, the CD drive jerks, the laptop is on. The only problem is, you can't go any further, the display stays black and the control lights on the side don't flash the ones that normally flash when you are working. After a bunch of switching on and off, it suddenly starts up again as if nothing had happened.
Could it be because of the display? But then should the lamp also be on?

It is 8 years old now, but the battery is defective and the laptop only starts with the charging cable connected
Maybe it's because of the display or the battery if everything else works, but if you have the display repaired or replaced, I would maybe look to get a new laptop / PC, as it can be relatively expensive. 8 years are already an amazing time, since many capacitors may soon fail, I would look around for others.
