Is it true that Apple pcs / laptops have a better and safer system than Windows?

MAC OS is not as common as it is worth writing fewer viruses

But the devices are also damn expensive

Of course, it is better to take a relative look at the application.

Each operating system has its advantages and disadvantages and scores in different areas.

And there are still viruses for macOs

I'm primarily concerned with security and system stability.

Apple's strategy of allowing only tested and harmless software for its mobile devices via its servers actually closed the door for hackers and trojans.

therefore it is almost impossible for the non-professional hacker to hack an apple calculator or an iphone. There should be ways to hide malware via pictures or videos, but whether that works or how apple protects itself in the iOS versions would have to be investigated.

Am

In this case, Mac OS is clearly ahead.

It depends:

If you know how to set up your Windows, nothing is insecure or unstable at all.

MacOS has its problems just like Windows. And these are partly due to Apple's terrible update policy: https://www.ifun.de/macos-catalina-update-laeuft-nicht-fuer-alle-nutzer-glatt-144247/

It is a question of definition.

From view A, MacOS is the safe and better system because

a) macOS has relatively little distribution and therefore hardly any viruses are programmed for this system

b) the OS and the hardware are programmed / combined by the same manufacturer. This allows the OS to be perfectly adapted to the hardware, which of course makes the system more stable!

c) MacOS is relatively complete and it is therefore relatively difficult to destroy important components for the system.

From view B, however, Windows is the better system because:

a) The hardware can be freely selected by the user and adapted to needs (for cost or efficiency reasons)

b) The Windows kernel, measured by critical errors, looks better

c) You are not tied to a manufacturer and therefore things (hardware or software components) can be exchanged relatively flexibly if something happens

d) there's simply a lot more software due to the much greater distribution (especially from different manufacturers). Not every manufacturer makes supporting a niche product like MacOS.

I personally use both systems and both have their advantages. I like the unity of MacOS, it's just an all-round package. In principle, you don't have to worry. A lot of helpful software is included and the hardware is also a very useful combination for me.

Windows, on the other hand, is particularly advantageous for graphics-intensive things (also, but not exclusively, games). The part that addresses the graphics card is implemented in Windows directly in the kernel and therefore simply unrivaled fast! There are also a lot of small tools and helpers for Windows, which nobody programs for MacOS or cost money there!

Since I have hardly appreciated games and the Unix environment lately, I would currently use MacOS if I needed a new computer.

Total garbage. None of this is true. Apple does not even allow anti-virus manufacturers to upload software for the iPhone. That will fall on their feet at some point

Ro

Why? I partially agree with you, but integrated anti-virus programs are better for your security. External antivirus programs are only a security hole.

"Therefore it is almost impossible for the non-professional hacker", that's nonsense and what should be unprofessional hackers, script kiddis? It is also very possible for them. If you want to come in, you come in
