My laptop often doesn't have access to WLAN, even though cell phones and other PCs have Internet access at the same time. So the problem is definitely with the laptop. Sometimes the connection is back after some time, but mostly I just restart the laptop and then everything works again. From time to time, however, I have to restart several times, because otherwise I still have no connection.
When I look in the settings, Wi-Fi is enabled + and I can also search for routers in the area, but mine is not shown
The problem wasn't there right from the start, and I suspect that it could have happened due to the change from Windows 8 to Windows 10 Home, although I'm not sure if it fits in time.
Can anybody help me further?
Try a LAN cable if it doesn't work.
Otherwise, good luck to you.
I have already tried it with a LAN cable, but unfortunately it didn't work either
Oh then I don't know anymore I'm really sorry
It may be that the settings of the router are changed
Driver installed?
Do you use software specifically from the WLAN provider? I have often had the experience that Windows' own software does this much better. Just as a tip if that should be the case.
EDIT: Unfortunately you did not say in your question that the problem also exists with LAN.
LAN and WLAN are two different things. If both have the problems, then the problem is certainly not to be found in the individual components or the drivers. Then it actually seems to be some problem of the operating system itself.
But there are no problems with other devices
Should actually be installed. Most of the time I also have the Internet, but now and then I can't connect
WLAN and Internet are two different things.
If your LAN has an Internet gateway (interface to the Internet) - and a device can't access it, then the access is blocked by the administrator of your LAN.
Please contact him and clarify the matter.
I have nothing else installed and nothing works with LAN
Edited my comment.
Based on the context, we should not have to deal with a "hot spot problem" here. In so far there's no "WLAN provider".
Of course, the provider of the hardware integrated on the board is meant. There's also no hotspot problem because the connection with the cable does not work either.
What do you mean by admin? This is my own router
However, you can block, allow or set different times for the router
The router can be set online in this way
And how do I change that? I have changed the router for a long time and never anything
Then it won't be because of it but you can still try. An Internet address should be specified in the user manual where the settings of the router can be changed
For example, you can set the router's password name, guest access and internet times
Start problem treatment times
I already have, no problem was found
Then I would also guess that there's a problem in the system. Did you upgrade (ironed over) or do a complete new installation during the changeover?
WLAN chips on circuit boards for stationary PCs are exotic and rare.
A "WLAN provider" is e.g. B. "Deutsche Telekom" with its "hotspot" offers.
No offense!
Your answer means that you can't administer your own router.
It is also difficult if you can't differentiate such basic terms as WLAN and Internet. (See first sentence of your question!)
If you want to learn it, register here again.
If not: Then hire a professional on site.
Solving network problems is not trivial.
First, integrated WLAN on motherboards is now nothing unusual, let alone exotic.
Furthermore, it should be clear in the previous comment that the somewhat unfavorable description of the provider actually means the manufacturer of the wlan hardware.
