Because I still have an old computer, including the TFT monitor, I'm now considering whether it is not time to keep up with the progress and buy a new surfing device. Because a decent laptop costs many times that of a tablet, I'm more interested in a tablet. So I wanted to ask first whether you have had good experiences with your tablet or whether you can even recommend me one, which brings enough performance (many with Octacore processor), on battery mind. One day to operate and the display is also important, it should not be dazzling (when the sun is shining), I also want to have a high refresh rate and beautiful colors. Do you get under 100 euro one, which would satisfy me or how much money do I have to plan?
Under 100 euro I personally would have little hope of finding something that really makes sense… Something about it could be so slow. Since I mean there are huawei Tablets (where I do not know their performance, I'm absolutely not interested in tablets the parts have to do almost nothing with me). There are fire tables from Amazon, but I don't think you will necessarily be happy. It should only result in this device.
For me personally, a tablet like this is just a solution for in between. Next to my bed is one on which I sometimes type or use it as a streaming monitor. If I only had 1 device available, it would definitely not be a tablet for me. For that I like to tap buttons and I like to put it somewhere.
Laptop 100% because I can't do what I want to do on the tablet, Android is not good for tablets, because Android simply uses what a tablet can't do is due to Google, I think TabletAndroid is no longer being developed. TabOS, or as Apple says, is well developed, but a tablet simply doesn't have the performance and capabilities that a laptop has.
Always thought that such a tablet is more suitable for reading than a laptop, e.g. If you are sitting on an armchair or sofa, but it is much more pleasant if you have your 10 inch tablet in your hand or lying on your lap than a heavy laptop, which should be free standing around below so that it does not run too hot. Well maybe a matter of opinion, I would prefer a tablet on the couch than such a heavy laptop.
Ok I agree with you to read. If you do little activity, a tray is pleasant.
I didn't think of that when I think of surfing. I regularly have 2-5 tabs open, open close, write a lot… This is something that annoys me with tablets ^^
I only like keyboards and the fixed connection from this to the monitor, so that I can type on my lap without having to hold the display. Something like a (unfortunately well over budget) Lenovo Yoga might be my interim solution.
Or, if necessary, a tray that can be "firmly" clicked into a keyboard, e.g. The (very expensive) surface book it can. (there are certainly also considerably cheaper)
If you don't need / want Windows, would I think of anything like all the Chromebooks?
Both
Laptop and then when I have a headache afterwards
Take a tray
Both complement each other very well
