Whenever I turn the volume on my laptop to 0 or simply mute it, I can't turn it down again.
It is because the volume is back on and has a certain value, but the speakers are off.
This happens not only with loudspeakers but also with headphones
I'm assuming that you have several sound cards in your device manager and one of them shows an error. You have to remove this, then there will be no more conflicts.
After you have removed the faulty card, you have to restart the computer.
Thanks, I checked but all sound cards work
Please excuse me for reporting so late, but I was on the road and had no access to the PC.
Has the problem now been resolved?
Do you have an equalizer on board? Perhaps you have set a slider to silent or just adjusted a regulator. Are there even more speaker types than stereo and headphone speakers?
