Partedmagic Error Message: Boot: Failed?

I want to sell my notebook (Huawei Matebook D) and therefore overwrite my SSD. I installed Partedmagic (the old free version) on my USB stick via unetbootin and also tried Rufus. The same error message appeared both times. The USB stick has 2 GB and is FAT32.

You could also simply encrypt your hard drive if that doesn't work with the boot stick. It's just as safe.

Take a current Linux Live as a BootCD or USB stick and format from it… The old PartedMagic-Free is definitely not UEFI-Boot / SecureBoot compatible…
