I wanted to install Kali linux on my laptop (no VM!). Now I have the problem that he receives an error message after about 80% installation progress:

I tried the installation already by eth and wlan. But both were no success. Already tried from the menu to access the step, but I have not found out how. Maybe jmd has an idea what it could be? Is it really openssh or is there a reason?
Do not use Kali, but actually Kali Linux is aimed at experienced users…

Try installing Kali from an installation DVD.
If the PC can be started with a Kali version of the DVD, then there's also a full installation nothing in the way.
