Can lines freeze / freeze?

Satellite is different, of course, but do I have to warm up my laptop?

Ex

No!

On the contrary, high performance computers have to be cooled down.

Even if the lines start to ice, that would not really matter to the electrical signals.

If the Internet slows you down in the cold, it's probably because more people are staying home and sitting on the computer - so more devices need to share the bandwidth.

Not in the sense, as you mean, because in power lines should be no water ;-)

But there are certainly temperatures at which electrical equipment should not be operated. Each device has defined temperature ranges in which it can work. That actually has to be in the manual.

Most appliances are operated at room temperature. High performance computers are rarely available to the general public and can therefore be disregarded.

It may be useful to let devices warm up. It is not always about the temperature, but about condensation, which can be quite electricity. If there's a short circuit after switching on, this can be one of the reasons.

Thanks, tons.

The question was yes if the Internet can freeze!
In that regard, high performance computers are relevant!
