I would like to 'play' my Wii on the laptop, so get the VGA connection to the laptop so that it can call up the picture. I also have a VGA to HDMI adapter, but I don't think the laptop will just bring the image from the Wii to the monitor.
Are there any programs that have been developed for my project?
There may be programs that make this possible, otherwise you can buy a capture card like the Elgato HD 60s, for example, and gamble about it in the program in Windows Wii
Do you have any examples of such a program?
Nope only know the way via capture card
Not possible, all the ports on the laptop such as VGA, HDMI and Displayport are just outputs, not inputs.
As an input you then need a capture card, i.e. A USB stick / plug-in card that acts as an input. Alternatively, programs such as Dolphin can also be used to emulate the Wii on a computer.
Yes, unfortunately I thought to myself. I've already found out about Dolphin, but I don't want to load the homebrew channel onto my Wii.
For Dolphin you don't need a homebrew channel, you only have to install Dolphin on the PC and then just need the games.
Yes, I know that, just to make a backup of the games so that you can load that into the Dolphin Emulator, you need the homebrew channel. Or are there other better options?
It is still possible to download the games from the Internet, but it is not legal.
