You could under "Computer" / "This PC" make a right click on the drive and select "Eject".
Otherwise, does your laptop even have a DVD drive? Many consider a cover for a DVD drive, although this is none. (Often experienced enough)
Nowadays and quite a while ago, manufacturers have stopped serializing drives because there are simply not enough customers who need them.

Otherwise, you could simply select the drive via the workstation and right-click on "eject" open the drive.
