I upgraded my laptop yesterday from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Since then I have massive Wlan problems. It crashes constantly, I can't connect for a while afterwards and if it is running, then only very slowly (download rate only at a maximum of 500kB / s).
Previously on Windows 8.1 everything went great. The signal strength was perfect, the Wi-Fi almost never crashed (if on all devices). On other devices, the wlan works unconditionally.
What I already tried:
Reboot the PC, restart the router, update the Wlan driver, reinstall the adapter
An Ethernet cable is unfortunately not an option as the router is in a different room. As far as I know, you need direct connection to the router (corrected me if I'm wrong.
Have you also selected the suitable driver for the wlan yourself? Or did you search for the driver, which Win installed automatically? That does not necessarily have to be the right one. *Experience…*
But I also had massive problems with Win10 on my laptop (Win7 model). So many problems with Wi-Fi, as well as with the video card in the game, I'm back on Win7. My hardware just does not fit… Vlt are you with similar problems… Win10 is just not a universal operating system and does not run, contrary to some claims, even with old hardware…
