I have the following problem:
Recently, I bought a laptop, but since Tuesday, however, the Internet is temporarily unavailable means no websites are loaded etc.
However, I'm connected to the wi-fi all the time and it is also shown as active (all other devices in this network have no problems)
I've already tried the DNS server from Quad9, updated the drivers and updated Windows updates.
When troubleshooting sometimes the problem could not be identified or the computer is configured but the device is not responding
Does anyone vlt still have ideas?
See if your IP configuration is correct.
Check your proxy settings in the internet options.
Disable the personal firewall and antivirus programs if necessary.
But first do that:
This problem raises further problems, e.g. If the whole network does not work anymore, internet connections will fail, the call of the event log will not show anything and much more.
Before you completely re-install your system, you can try the following solution, with many users, everything was fine again afterwards.
Here is the solution in individual steps:
? Start → All Programs → Accessories → Command Prompt (execute right mouse button as administrator)
Enter "netsh winsock reset" and press "Enter-key" you can ignore the error messages.
Enter "netsh int ip reset" and press "Enter".
? Restart the computer.
Now everything should run as usual again.
(Check the IP address and DNS server address and enter your data if necessary)
if not, delete the network locations and set up again.
Call the registry editor.
Navigate to the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software / Microsoft / Windos NT / Current Version / Network List / Profiles
Behind the cryptic numbers and letters lie the networks to which you were once connected.
Select the subkeys (cryptic strings).
Click with the right mouse button and select> delete <.
Close registry.
Restart the computer.
When logging in to the network again, you can now choose the network location again.
Is synonymous so if you can't set up a home network.
Hope I could help…
So I have a lot of ideas. Unfortunately, many people rely on someone who knows about networks. So the first idea: Ask someone in your area for help.
Until then, I would try to narrow down the problem and to be more precise than you have previously described. Is it on the Wi-Fi? Is perhaps the environment of the laptop heavily burdened by neighbor Wlan? Do only the higher protocols work or is IP also affected? So you can ping permanently? Does the local connection fail or the Internet? Can you ping your router, but not 194.25.2.129? Do you dare to install and use Wireshark?
If the WLAN is OK and the Internet gone you have to contact either the admin of the Internet gateway (eg router) and if it is not the Internet provider.
Of course it could also be that Internet access works great - just not your DNS server.
What should I do then with the problem with the DNS server?
First and foremost, use one that works.
Just try the 1.1.1.1 or the one from your provider.
Actually, the router is located directly in the next room and until recently there were no problems, or mobile phone has no problems.
I have not tried internet pings yet, but I can't ping the router sometimes, sometimes there's 100% loss
What could I use Wireshark for?
The problem is that it works temporarily without change and temporarily not
I used the one from Quad9 but it did not work either
It is only the Windows Defender on it, but also a deactivation of the firewall has brought nothing
I'll try the other one
JUST IT!
With wireshark you can listen to the network. So you can watch if the "suspension" always happens under certain circumstances.
If you can't ping your router, you have a (l) lan problem. Normally it works or not. Intermittent dropouts could be caused by the overloading of the radio room, by your own wireless devices, disturbing not wireless devices or just the neighbors. If you have nothing better, just download WifiAnalyser on the smartphone and look how it is with the load in the vicinity of the laptop.
