What should I watch out for if I want to buy a PC to stream?

My name is samantha and i started making youtube videos some time ago. Since I love to make videos and I also enjoy playing games occasionally, I want to stream on the Twitch and YouTube platforms. I have a 200 euro laptop which I have had for 3 years and which is still hanging. It's just not fun to edit videos on it let alone play anything on it. I also tried to stream with this laptop, which is a complete disaster. Constantly hanging, rendering videos takes too long… You don't want to imagine it.

Now that I have saved up a certain amount and would like to invest in a PC, I wanted to ask what I should pay attention to.

How much budget do I have?
I have 1000 euro available.

What is important to me?
That I have a PC with which I can play / stream games and that in very good quality. In addition, the PC should also be intended for video editing, rendering, etc. For YouTube.

First.

CPU with 6 cores and 12 threads.

E.g. AMD Ryzen 1600/2600/3600.

A graphics card with about 8GB VRAM.

E.g. RX580 or from Nvidia 1660s.

Then about 16GB RAM DDR4 3200MHz or better.

SSD / HDD of your choice.

Moin Sam,

for such a PC a lot of cores and a lot of RAM would be important… Streaming in "very good quality" is such a thing… Eats enormous resources… I would rather stream 1280 x 720 …

The optimal CPU would be the Ryzen 3900X (12-core plus hyperthreading / SMT = 24 threads). But it is too expensive.

If you buy now, I would recommend Ryzen 2700 (X) … By the end of the year (when the new Ryzen 4xxx come out) you will probably get the 3700X for ~ 200, - Taler.

I'll make you a compilation.

See you soon, and greetings from the pot

I sent you a friend request.

The 4 components are the most important.

Cpu: I recommend the Ryzen models P / L mega well

Graphics card: Gtx2080 whereby you would also be able to cope with a 1080.

Ram: 16Gb ram 2400Mhz

Mainboard: Am4 socket and it should have 4 ram slots. One of Msi.Bebaues model I can't say

So with a 6 core you don't get as far as 12 or 16 would be much better

For the streaming then 1 core is used, with 12 threads this is sufficient.

But yes, a Ryzen 2700x with 8 cores and 16 threads is of course even better. So you have enough performance reserves… So what I wanted to say is that you should no longer rely on a 4 core with 8 threads.

Gl

A 12-core is well above budget…

Yes you are right but I think he will play Fortnite and fortnite uses a lot more CPU than Gta

Gl

I once made something with Ryzen 2700 (without X) … The 2700X is currently completely overpriced.

Hmm… With a cheaper case and a cheaper SSD I still can't get the 3700X pressed into the budget ^^

We

The ryzen for 150 euro

Gl

With the Ryzen 2700, Sam would definitely be very well served ;-)

Graphics card: Gtx2080

Have you already read that 1000 euro are available for the PC? For the whole, not just for the graphics card.

I wrote afterwards that it would also work with a 1080
