My laptop (Microsoft Surface Pro 3) has been in operation since 2015, works, but still flawlessly. Unfortunately, for some time now, with the smallest increase in performance, it has started to turn on the fans, which are very loud.
I thought that I would then simply assemble a small fan to be able to cool it better. But the solution is not exactly ideal either.
Normally I would try to remove the dust now, but that doesn't work with this laptop because the computing unit is right behind the screen, like on a tablet, for example.

Can you maybe help me or give me some tips?
Carefully remove the part of the case that is in front of the fan and clean the fan and the heat exchanger fins. You may even have to partially disassemble the fan to clean the fins. You will need a watchmaker's screwdriver and tweezers as tools.
Tip: take out the battery beforehand!
First of all, thanks for the tip, the part that sits in front of the fan is the screen and I can't remove the battery

Yes, that's exactly what I thought of, but my laptop doesn't have the computing unit on the floor, but across from the screen. That's why such tools don't do me much good
Can't you remove the back panel?
No, unfortunately not
That's a reason for me not to buy a Surface.
So you have a kind of convertible
Yes exactly
I can't think of anything that would bring something
