In order to convince my parents I broke advantages but I wanted to know a few disadvantages.

A PC has only one DISADVANTAGE:

You can't take it with you to work with it on the go. Otherwise there's no argument for a notebook.

Advantages of a PC:

Parts can be easily replaced.

You get better components for the price because with a laptop everything has to be packed small.

Disadvantages of a PC:

It can be a little more complicated to use, especially with a home-made one.
