Can I take my cell phone and laptop with me? Consider going there because I can no longer eat properly. Would be there for 12 weeks.
have eaten almost nothing for 5 days, luckily I don't choke, but it's hard to go down. Either I have a disorder in the tongue nerve from conduction anesthesia and it has only really made itself felt now (2 weeks later) or it is of a psychological nature. Was able to eat normally until 5 days ago.
Swallowing muscles, or as that is called, works in the throat and pharynx without any problems, but the food stays on the end of the tongue at the back, although of course I swallow.
I can drink too.
I have been suffering from panic attacks on buses and trains for years and now have difficulty swallowing (before that I could eat as much as I wanted without swallowing problems)
I know from experience that you can take anything with you there, you have to be able to pass the time somehow. Usually you get a sheet of paper with the rules on what to take and what not to take with you.
It's good that you want to do something about it. Such clinics are not bad at all, always had a good time so far.
All the best and get well soon.
It depends, there are a few where that is possible. But the night watch comes in at night anyway to check.
You will have a preliminary talk at the beginning anyway. The best thing to do is to write down all the questions that you can then discuss there before entering.
