Diagnostic device bodies, how safe are they?

A friend had a woman (alternative practitioner) from the Czech Republic visiting and she had a diagnostic device with her that was connected to her laptop. With the help of a pointer, she touched my fingers and then examined my body for any disease (bacteria / viruses) and it turned out that I have a heart valve defect, chlamydia and stomach problems.

I've never had chlamydia symptoms and if I'm honest I got pissed off. Because diagnoses like this are pretty tough and I have no idea how it can be tested just like that.

Does anyone have experience with that? Should i go to the doctor?

A device that detects organic problems, bacteria and viruses by putting it on? Then it has to be a Thermomix. He can really do everything.

Haha xD LOL xD

Sounds almost like an error measuring device in cars, except that we humans are not machines, where you can read out the error and then fix it again.

This is nonsense.

If you have any health problems, go to the doctor and possibly get a second opinion from another doctor.

There are people who believe in such hocus-pocus (especially the owners of these devices, because they make tons of money with this nonsense). Obviously I'm not one of them.

Where such devices work in medicine… In vital sign monitoring. A heart valve defect and / or a clamydia infection but… Forget it.

And afterwards you will sometimes be turned on some mega-expensive miracle medicine.

No, please don't fall for it. You can do that as a party gag and laugh about it together, but then it has to be over.

So… If you have any complaints or would like to have one or more of the preventive examinations offered by the health insurance companies, then go to the doctor. But if you are doing well, there's no need to see a doctor.

Very popular sleight of hand from naturopaths. Using extremely dubious "measuring methods", patients are attached to a disease that they knew nothing about beforehand, let alone had any complaints, but which must now be treated in an expensive and lengthy manner - of course by the naturopath himself. Many patients (above all the very naive) are then absolutely enthusiastic about how well the alternative practitioner could "help" them.

From A to Z Hocus pocus, unfortunately, good believers fall for it again and again and then spend a lot of money on treating diseases allegedly found with it with expensive globules and similar humbug. You don't need a doctor or anything else because of these "diagnoses".

ROFL awesome!

Well, this is really some kind of attempted fraud. Some diseases can't be diagnosed by electronic measurements with sensors. You can't diagnose a viral load in this way, let alone a heart valve defect. For infection you need a mucous membrane swab or a blood test, there's no other way.

I would report such an alternative practitioner if I had to assume that she practices this way.

No, you don't have to go to the doctor if you don't have any symptoms or complaints, but I can understand that you are insecure and shaken.

Thank you! Very well to the point.
