Hi, I'm Lukas and I wanted to buy a RAM extension soon, because 8GB is not enough for me! I found out that my RAM is 2400mHz and 2 slots are currently in use in the laptop. In addition, the Task Manager says that my RAM is "SODIMM", but I don't know what that is.
I would have bought this RAM from Amazon now, but would like to check it: https://www.amazon.de/...0722Q3243/
Thank you in advance for the answers!

With the program CPU-Z you can check which RAM belongs in it, otherwise look at the manufacturer's website.
You can use the Crucial upgrade help on the internet is very simple
Just download CPU-Z and install it, that will give you the right information
SODIMM is notebook RAM, the bars are smaller than normal RAM bars and the slots for installation work a little differently.
The RAM you looked for seems compatible.
Thanks! The following is written here: DDR4, Channel: Dual, FSB: RAM 1:18
So now I can buy the RAM without any worries! LG Lukas
Have fun with more performance ^^
SO is already correct. This means Small Outline and is used in notebooks.
BUT: There are two versions. Some work with 1.5 volts and the other with 1.35 volts. Not every notebook can handle the 1.5V memory. It is therefore essential to check the technical data of the notebook from the manufacturer. If there's only one DDR4 2400 L (low volt) then only this one fits. Neither can the two versions be mixed. So always use two of the same.
I would also look at the manufacturer for the maximum size of a dim. Although I think with DDR4 8Gb won't be a problem.
With two times 16GB it can lead to problems with notebooks.
