Laptops and upgrading are next to impossible. There's not much to do besides the RAM. Especially not if there are new components that have a higher TDP.
4200m, back then there were laptops that could still be upgraded. There were even GPU upgrades for notebooks with MXM (2)! But since we now apparently want all 5mm thick Ultrabooks that has been done… On eBay you can often find the old ones
There's MXM, but you can hardly get hold of individual GPUs because they are not sold in the retail market.
I honestly know of no laptop that has its CPU in a socket, they are all soldered directly and are actually not replaceable.
