What's your favorite laptop brand?
My sister has one who is good, does everything he should do, just not intended for gaming.
Insurgo and Nitrokey, mainly because they natively support Qubes, and because I'm an absolute fan of the design. Technically average, but I'm happy
I have hp and I'm very happy with it. Lenovo is also a good brand.
I especially appreciate the Lenovo ThinkPads, and now have a dozen of them myself. The T420 / s are still one of my favorites, even if they are no longer up to date in terms of performance. Instead, the last model in which the classic IBM keyboard was installed. Otherwise, my choice of hardware and purchase decision is less dependent on a specific brand, but much more on the workmanship and technical data of the respective device.
But there's no such thing as an egg-laying woolly milk pig and pretty much every manufacturer has bad and recommended notebooks in their portfolio. In the end, to be honest, I don't really care if Apple, Lenovo, HP or another manufacturer has stuck their branding on it. The decisive factor is the quality and quantity of the installed components as well as the price-performance ratio. Since I use computers almost exclusively for work, other things are possibly more important to me than most classic Otto normal users will be.
