Brand new laptop very slow?
I bought a brand new laptop, but it's still very slow.
The CPU utilization is 100% when doing nothing. Which can't be.

Okay, I don't have that much idea, but do you have it brand new because the windows update says it pulls so much power, maybe it still does all the important updates?
Just leave it on and run. It sets up a little and updates. But you won't tear anything with the CPU
I've already installed 20 updates but it doesn't stop with the updates and be slow.
I just want to surf the internet and do office work. I let it go through for 1 day.

Yes but with new ones all new updates are missing that can take 2 hours so no worries for me when I assembled my pc

With pleasure. If you like, turn on the power supply. Click on the rechargeable battery / battery icon and slide the slider all the way to the right "maximum performance". Then it's a tad faster. It shouldn't go into sleep mode, etc.

The laptop is brand new, but that doesn't change the fact that the processor is just electronic waste / for the trash.
If you want something meaningful, give it back and buy something decent.
A laptop with an i3, i5, or AMD Ryzen processor.
But avoid AMD AX or Intel Atom, Celeron and Pentium.

Or a used Thinkpad always makes more sense than any laptop with an AMD AX processor.
The problem is that the laptop has been here for more than 14 days and on amazon it says that you can send the thing back a maximum of 14 days later. Is there any chance of getting my money back anyway?

Insist on a repair.
If it somehow doesn't work, install the free Linux Mint Cinnamon in addition to the crippling Windows - so every computer works again quickly. The whole thing is suitable for beginners, works without a key and is well described on YouTube.
