I'm currently looking for a laptop / notebook for work that should have special requirements.
The following would be important:
- Laptop / notebook with touchscreen or maybe you can think of an alternative to how someone could insert their signature digitally instead of "signing"
- HDMI input (or a possibility to play external image / video material on the device)
I think of the Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Series Convertible, which can be operated with a stylus that can also handle handwriting. Like a pen, the stylus. Can be used as a small subnotebook or as a powerful tablet.
The Fujitsu Lifebook T 900 series would also be comparable.
If the notebook should be able to do something, so it should not be spared, Panasonic CF 19 series or Getac V series would also be something in this way.
For Otto Normal with a stylus there would also be a "modern" foldable screen like HP Specter, HP Envy, Samsung Notebook 9 Pen, Acer Spin 5, …
A laptop with an integrated HDMI input, without an external device, because you're looking for you're retiring. The largest of all the possibilities I've ever seen is a DVB-T input and a coaxial input for cable TV. And they weren't all laptops you want to carry around.
Thanks in advance.
I'll take a look at the models mentioned.
You said: … "Without an external device, you search for a long time" What kind of external device could there be that reproduces content on a laptop?
Background: I would like to connect my Playstation to the laptop. Had heard of the PSN Remote Option. However, this is unusable for online gaming.
USB video cards, or capture boxes, are designed for this. But depending on the quality, they are not cheap.
Thank you so much
