If someone sells a laptop on eBay classifieds but the description does not say how long they have the laptop, but tells me in the chat how long they have it, then I get the laptop and it turns out that they have had the laptop for more than two years do I have a right of return? (of course if I pay with buyer protection)
If the information deviates significantly, it would be fraud.
You can probably display that too (only if he is discussing things with you, e.g. You have bought this now and something like that). You can also just give it back, but you should get your money back
So if he says to me in the chat that he has two years but in retrospect it turns out that he has more than two years and the description does not say how long he has it, then I'm right to return it. So what he says in the chat also counts
If he deliberately misrepresents the age, it is cheating. The chat also applies there.
