Problem with ads on Chrome

.

I have recently been seeing ads when I search for something on Chrome with Google, even though I have an ad blocker. In the past, the first three links / websites in the picture above were never displayed, but the Twitch link first. The three links / web pages are also not marked as "adverts".

I also checked with another Google account to see if that would happen. The Twitch link was then displayed there first. So it has to be my Google account and not my PC. This only happens with Chrome and not with Firefox.

Here is another example:

And here when I search with Firefox:

Problem with ads on Chrome - 2

I used the same PC and Google account for every search. So the problem must have a connection from Chrome to my Google account. I also tried all of this on a laptop. The same thing happened there, so there can't be a problem with my PC.

Have any of you ever had a similar problem and can help me?

There's some kind of ad on or plug in installed, sometimes they disguise themselves as a search bar - install themselves perfidiously with other software by the way.

they do much more than just nicely complete the search, better look that you get rid of that.

I use 4 ad blockers at the same time, nothing is displayed to me anymore

Can't help you with the google problem. But I would be happy to recommend all other search engines (except for Bing). Unfortunately, Google no longer helps with finding.

Check your system and Chrome for unwanted software (with AdwCleaner and the installed extensions).

Sounds like malware.

Many Thanks. I did it and my search results are back to normal. It was actually an extension. Ironically, even an ad blocker.

Thanks. I did it. Was an extension of Chrome. Even an ad blocker.

Huh. I tell you - perfidious in the background…

Apparently the 4 correct ones, or not the wrong one, like the questioner.

, that was probably just adware disguised as a Trojan. You probably got it on some fake site.

I advise you to load uBlock, it actually blocks ads and is hardly recognized.
