HDMI connection is too on the laptop?

I have the problem that I want to buy a second screen for my laptop. My laptop has an HDMI connection but this is closed with a part.

I need help quickly because the second screen is important.

So either this is a (very strange) protective cap that you have to remove somehow (paper clip or similar) or your laptop has no HDMI connection installed, only the manufacturer uses standardized housings for various laptop configurations. In the case of laptops, where there should not be an HDMI connection, this connection is simply sealed.

Are you sure that your laptop should have an HDMI connection?

Do you have packaging or something similar? Where is that noted?

Has no HDMI connection so that's it 2nd screen
