Key data for a new laptop?

I need a new laptop. He should already have bums, but does not have to be an Ultra Zockerteil.

I'm more concerned with things like:

Processor… I7 … I5

-Graphic card

Size of the RAM

-Storage

Can someone give me some key data so that I can search?

If you want to gamble, I would at least put on a GeForce GTX 1050. Otherwise, it also does an integrated graphics unit. If you just need a bit more power as far as the graphics card is concerned, I would opt for an AMD Ryzen because the integrated graphics unit has a lot more power than Intel's integrated graphics chips. For a multimedia device, an AMD Ryzen 5 is sufficient and otherwise just an Intel Core i5.

As for memory, I would put at least 8 GB of RAM. 16 GB are useful, for example, for complex image and / or video editing. Partly also for various games with high system requirements. The size of the hard disk can only be determined by you. In any case, I would make sure that an SSD is installed, as this provides for a speed boost again. There are also devices where both an SSD and an HDD is installed. An HDD is just useful if you need a lot of space for other files.

Otherwise just make sure that it is a device with Full HD resolution. And it can also be quiet a device without an operating system, as it often saves a lot of money. An OEM license for Windows 10, for example, you get on MMOGA for little money.

Is an i7 not better than an i5?

I think I can't play the OS alone

Al

Do you know the Dell G3? He makes a good impression. I have always had Toshiba. Dell is as good as Toshiba, right?

tr

In most cases, an i7 will be more powerful. Depends on the models. However, I assume that you will not need an i7.

tr

Do you have a link ready? I've never believed a Dell device before ^^ I tend to go to ASUS, Lenovo and HP. I come across these manufacturers the most, when I compare devices. I can't really say anything about Toshiba and Dell.

Al

Can a link.

We have the Dell G3 for 2 months now.

I would like to refrain from a Lenovo. I had a bad experience. As I said, Toshiba would be great if I find something there

What exactly do you want to know now if you already have a Dell G3? ^^

Al

He belongs to my father 😅

What the G5 can do better

tr

These are different models in the idealo link.

Al

I'll look again 😅

Is an i7 with 2.2 GHz worse than a i5 with 2.3 GHz?

Al

What do you think of this? https://m.alternate.de/Acer/Nitro-5-(AN517-51-7887)-Notebook/html/product/1539904

tr

I need the exact names of the processors.

You can compare something like that here: https://technical.city/en/cpu

An i7-9750H and a GTX 1660 Ti definitely offer a lot of power. 16 GB of RAM are also perfectly adequate for gambling. Is also cheaper than 1400 euro. And Acer does not mean it to me.

Thanks. I see that there's often no Windows on it. How much does Windows 10 cost approximately and is it a rocket show?

tr

This is not a problem. Without Windows you often save a little money.

For example, you get a license for just € 12.50: https://www.mmoga.de/Software/Windows/Windows-10-Home-OEM.html

You can create a data medium (DVD or USB stick) for the installation for free via Microsoft's Media Creation Tool: https://www.microsoft.com/.../windows10

It's easy too. Basically just follow all the steps. At the very beginning, select the custom installation. Create a new partition in the partition manager via "New", leaving the size as it is. Then select them for installation. The rest is self-explanatory.
