I surf for years on my laptop with Windows 8. A few weeks ago there was suddenly right down Windows 8 Build 9200, which I now supposedly activate, but still have not done, because I'm annoying and I do not know where I have the code, etc… Have. Meanwhile, the desktop wallpaper was turned off. That's always the case when Windows is not activated. Can I leave it that way, or will the juice to Windows 8 be turned off? I mean, after all, my Windows 8 was activated. I do not see that, against my will, another version cheats into it, which I should now activate.
Do you have an original license? Then that should not happen.
I do not know. I got the Compi from Ebay back then. He was directly ready to go. Everything was already activated, etc… I did not worry about that. I have years already.
There you have your problem… Was probably never an original license.
MS sometime found a way to recognize this.
But I suppose the part has its best days ever behind.
