Is this a good laptop to use at home?

The laptop is not really good. It may be fast thanks to the SSD, but 240Gb is nothing. You can't do anything with the graphics unit either. 8GB of ram is also meager. For the price you get a smoked laptop with which you can even play reasonably reasonable AAA games.
