Would like to know what modpacks you can play smoothly with this laptop (at least 30 FPS).
Components:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700U
Radeon RX Vega 10
16 GB RAM (but I do not know whether this is spread over two… (dual-channel) or just one…)
512 GB SSD
… I don't think the rest is that important
So: How demanding / big can the Modpacks be so that it still runs smoothly (30 FPS min.)?
Can you use it, for example, to play Skyfactory 4 or SevTech Ages or AllTheMods (I would also like to know how demanding that is compared to other mod packs so that I can better estimate)?
(Likes to write differentiated to the Modpacks, the 3 are, for example, those that interest me a lot).
And what's up with it?
Answers and assessments, possibly also experiences would be really nice, would help me a lot.
You can just try it;) then you know it
Most packs should run on the machine.
SF4 is a lightweight, so you won't have any problems with that.
SevTech is Ram Hungry, but 16 is sufficient here, I would recommend at least 8GB allocated for the pack.
Do not know what ATM you mean but ATM 3 and ATM 4 should run with 6-8gb. I can't say anything about ATM 5, I haven't played 1.15 packs yet.
The processor and Vega are easily sufficient. There are more than 30FPS in there.
I don't have it yet, and that would be a factor to buy or not
Cool, I'm very happy to hear that, then I thank you very much, you helped me a lot.
Another short question: Would you get the modpacks via the Twitch Launcher or which way do you prefer?
I have only been using the Twitch Launcher for a while now, also for various vanilla installations. It's just more convenient.
