Mine is already 7 years old and I'm worried every day he might die soon. Although I do a monthly back up to an external HDD, I would still like to know in which way most laptops say goodbye, to know if it affects data.
Overheating of components after intensive use.
The data I could save after removal of the plate.
Well my previous laptop is already about 6 years old. I doubt that the hard drive will eventually give up the spirit, as it is a relatively new Samsung SSD, which is known for its long longevity and very fast processing of data. And should the iwann not tackle anymore, then I only have to plug in the switch again xD.
This is completely different, as the capabilities of a laptop…
many of the built-in display is no longer or starts with misfires (is usually the thin cable in the display frame).
sometimes the battery is flat… Sometimes a plate damage (if you have it in the switched state a lot and ggf jerky - at ssds not so bad)
and by far the deadliest thing: thermal: a notebook is always more compact than a computer; That is why the waste heat concept is important. Over time, everything gets dusty and the device operates at a warmer temperature than intended. At some point it's so warm that it causes damage…
