At my school it is now allowed to use laptops / emergency racks in class with the teacher's consent. I would like to get one. Unfortunately I don't know anything about it. On this one, I'd mainly use "WORD", "EXCEL", "POWERPOINT", "Python" (+ "PyCharm"), "Shotcut", "MuLab", "FreeCad", and "yED Graph Editor".
I have the 2019 Office suite on my Microsoft account.
Do you have some good models?
My conditions that are important to me:
-Max 600 euro
-Windows 10 (64-bit)
-2/3 USB ports (USB3 would be good)
-HDMI connector
-Battery that lasts about 5h +
-SSD (500GB)
-Small enough for a school folder
-Good RAM (min.8GB)
-Good graphics card (I use a lot of graphics programs so it should be pretty good yours)
-Touchpad
-Wi-Fi access
Not necessary are:
-CD drive
-Touchscreen
-Camera
I have a laptop, but it's too big for my portfolio. And a little too old (almost 7 years)
An Intel HD Graphics is completely sufficient for pure school use.
My recommendation is to check out the usual suspects for lease returns. They are well-maintained, refurbished business notebooks that can easily last a few years.
The advantage is the higher quality housing, which is designed for life in the briefcase / school backpack.

I use a similar device @work. Runs sufficiently fast and is reliable, but also so light that it is not annoying when commuting with public transport.

Fulfills all points, but I can't check the point with the school folder.
OK thank you
Thank you very much
