Because for Sony the computer division was no longer profitable. But I read recently that Vaio was bought recently and has now become independent. I don't know if they are already producing
I would say = Sony was never competitive and therefore they gave up the business.
Also had a Sony Vaio and it only lasted for 2 years. So it was full of junk. My medium even lasted up to 10 years. My Levono has been holding for 8 years. Therefore: who still wants Sony?
For this, they have become competitive in cameras.
