Because of Corona, I should send in my lecture as a video.
I have a Powerpoint presentation (preferably the whole screen) and would like to record it and my voice.
I have two screens
The software should be free and have no watermarks.
I think many suggest OBS. That doesn't work at all. Can only record the slide from PP that was displayed when OBS was started. Not all.
Screen capture doesn't work either. Either he shows the mouse, but then everything is black. Then it was time to deactivate the graphics card (got a laptop with two AMD Radeon graphics cards). I did, but then no screen is recognized.
So either someone has a solution for OBS or another good recording program that doesn't bother.
Windows 10 can do this by itself. Press Windows + G, then you will see the corresponding options.
If you have Nvidia maybe Nvidia Shadowplay or just Windows
Maybe Streamlabs OBS
You can also use PowerPoint directly for this. To do this, go to Slide Show → Record Slide Show → Record from the start. You can also use the context menu to convert your mouse pointer into a laser pointer. Then just go through the meeting and unwind your text.
Then click on Export> Video and then the recorded presentation is saved.
I saw that, but I will also go to websites during the presentation and show something there. Therefore screen capture.
Wow. Didn't know Windows could do that.
I only found out through a "typo". I'm not sure whether you can set the sound at the same time - haven't tried it.
Just tried it. Go. It's a bit fiddly. Sometimes the menu appears, sometimes it is there even though the PC is hardly busy. But when it does run, it does.
Now I just need a good video editing program, of course free of charge.
Naturally…
DaVinci Resolve, OpenShot, ShotCut and what they are not all called.
