Mouse can't be controlled while keystroke when playing?

I use a laptop to play by the way, eg Minecraft, but I can't run at the same time while moving my mouse.

As soon as I start running with WASD I can't move the mouse pointer at the same time, only when I stop running can the mouse be moved again after a short time. Does one know how I can change that?

Do you have a laptop? There are now and then functions that lock the mouse input when the keyboard is used. Could be a possibility.
