Hi, I have a question.
I have a Siemens PLC S315-2.
When the operating voltage is applied, this goes directly to a total error and can't be reset via masteresett. Furthermore, it can't be connected to the laptop via DP or via Pne. What could be the mistake?
For info:
When starting, only the red Sf LED flashes. All other LEDs remain dark (except the Mreset is activated. Then the stop LED also goes off)
That's a good question… Have you ever tried to start without a memory card?
otherwise I would say the thing is in the bag: /. The problem is then that you don't get any concrete details regarding the error output. Neither an error code nor a bit message. Somehow you can guess more than you know.
but to be honest, you should probably ask in a specialist forum, because plc is really nothing for most hobbyists. Even if many want to pretend to be the ultra-technology professionals par excellence… That is tough stuff and for I say 98% here garnix. At least from the computer area you will not get any useful answers hehe
Yes, we've tried this before. Another memory card with a working system inserted.
Well then the need is great: /
Slap the thing on a rack and take the power supply that goes with it.
Replace the backup battery.
Then a digital output or input assembly on it.
Check your connection cable to the PG.
When programming DP you have to go "offline"!
Try broadcasting a program.
If it doesn't work then the CPU unit is ready for service.
