I would like to expand my MEDION Akoya 98390 with new RAM memory modules to 16 GB. Does anyone know what is compatible, good and cheap? I replaced HDD hard drive with Crucial MX5000 500GB.

The laptop model supports a maximum of 8GB.

You can find more information and memory https://www.memoryxxl.net/arbeitsspeicher/medion/notebooks/akoya-p6624-md-98390/#:~:text=Medion%20Akoya%20P6624%20(MD%2098390)%20Arbeitsspeicher%20(RAM)%20aufr%C3%BCsten&text=Ab%20Werk%20ist%20das%20System,Steckpl%C3%A4tze%20(%2Dplatz)%20zur%20Verf%C3%BCgung.

If I looked right now there's an i3-370M processor in the part

https://ark.intel.com/...0-ghz.html

DDR3 800/1066 modules are possible here, but maximum 8GB

No, did not find the link, I will add it, sorry

Eg

Thanks anyway for making you smile!

Ma

A, up to 8 GB, more is not possible, so only 2x2 GB possible

For me, 2x2 is 4 and not 8, you little boy. So if you don't take care of yourself…

St

This is due to the i3 370M processor. The only supports up to 8GB. It is the same for other laptops with this processor.

Ma

Yes, because 4 are already in it + 2x2 makes 8 together

But the Medion Notebook would have to have 3 to 4 memory slots. I don't drink coffee at all, I drink milk or a nice hot cocoa.

Ma

Mnche notebooks have soldered the first memory and 2 slots free.

St

The MEDION Akoya P6624 (MD 98390) notebook has only two memory slots and no soldered memory chips on the mainboard.

Ma

I saw a store that sold 2x4gb for the model

So 1 block with 4GB is correct. So
