I just installed Arch with KDE Plasma on one of my notebooks; made a few basic settings and finally installed the first programs with pacman. My problem is that none of them appear in the start menu.
I have already logged out several times, restarted completely and "updated" the system. When I start the KRunner, the apps do not appear either. However, when I query the version for the packages in the console, everything is displayed correctly. Does anyone happen to know here?
The menu is generated from .desktop files, which should be in the / usr / share / applications / folder. If they were not stored there, you can save them in ~ / .local / share / applications / for your user account.
