What depends on the SSD and what on the HDD?

I finally wanted to muck my laptop, and so I wanted to ask first, knows / is there a free program with which I can delete installer files.

But now comes only the most important thing, what should I move the best on the HDD, or how is that the best? So that I z.b. All videos automatically on the HDD memory and normal programs except just games can move to the HDD, so that programs are automatically installed on the HDD.

Währe also great if you still writes what I still best move / muck, my 225GB SSD (are something between 200 GB and 275 GB, I'm on vacation, do not know the exact number, but is so unimportant) is quite full. My HDD (1 TB) has just not enough space.

Is there synonymous something with which I can automatically separate programs from games, or can I ever have a folder with programs on the HDD and keep the games in the folder with the same name (programs.) On the SSD?

Operating system: Windows 10

But I think that would be with the questions, otherwise it will be a novel 😁.

I do not really know why you need a program for it.

The separation is actually quite simple:

SSD: operating system (Windows 10) and all programs. Play only if the memory is sufficient. Always leave enough buffer. It should also be worth the games (for example at Battlefield where you will be much faster in the round). Otherwise, it's not worth it.

HDD: Everything else.

Images are all on the SSD or in the cloud with me, I pack videos on the HDD, because they are much larger. Maybe you should also pack the pictures on the HDD, because it offers little storage space with you.

You do not need a program for the separation. Each time you install, you will be asked where to install the program (which includes games) and can choose the hard drive. You have to separate yourself. Likewise, you mostly decide for yourself which files are stored.

Maybe it would help to uninstall unnecessary programs. Best of all it would be, you put your computer down completely, so that the operating system is also free again and the programs are all gone, who were on the SSD. Then you decide carefully which programs you need to install and which files should come to the SSD and which not. Then you can divide the memory much better. Files that you have to keep necessarily, you just put on the HDD, if your Windows is not installed on it, which I guess.

On the SSD are best all high-performance programs / games

And the operating system, so your Windows 10

When you install games or programs, you are always asked where to install them.

If you reinstall Windows 10 you will be asked if you want to format the disk directly.

Do I have to look, I just have a lot of files where I have a problem when I delete the memory completely, and to look for anything I necessarily need it back then is also difficult. Probably I should best first move the folders photos, videos and documents (yes, is it easy?) And all the programs, I can move all synonymous with no new installation on the HDD (preferably not the games to). Nagut, I also have tons of white programs that I have used once and then forgot, there would be once clear everything better, but reinstall everything will take a while just synonymous.

I also wanted to know if I can adjust that when I'm asked automatically the HDD is specified.
