Which PC for animation / 3D modeling?

I would like to get a PC, because I will soon start studying animation. Since I also want to work at home, I need a suitable PC, because the work on the laptop rather tedious.

I would like to assemble a PC, I also have help there. But I still wanted to get your opinion on hardware, so I'm absolutely sure what to buy. I would be very grateful for your help. I'm open about the price, but of course it would be good if the PC does not come up to the 2000 or 3000. So if you know a cheap good alternative, I would be glad for this information.

I would like to use the PC also Gamen (I think of games like Sea of Theives, Sims 4, Dead by daylight, etc. And I would like to be able to play on the best graphics setting)

In principle, you can use almost any gaming PC for it.

Depending on what kind of software you use it may be that it makes sense to use a stronger multicore CPU and a slightly weaker graphics card.

Therefore, it would be useful if you clarify which software is used in your studies.

But in general, if it should not be so expensive, probably only one AMD CPU comes into question. It may be worth it to wait until the summer, because in the third generation of Ryzen CPUs, the core number should indeed be increased again to up to 16 cores. I suspect that it then comes back to a price slide in terms of multicore performance.

I have finally put together a PC for such tasks. Have the AMD 5-2600. Had at the beginning 16GB of RAM, then upgraded to 32GB, as was necessary for certain video editing stuff. My motherboard has the 470er chipset, but not necessarily be, the 450 is synonymous enough.

Unlike the one suggestion, I would not rely on AMD graphics. This is because of my preference for Linux operating systems, because AMD is simply unable to deliver reasonable drivers. My Arch Linux is currently not supported by AMD (and maybe always?), I rely on an open source driver (with my Ryzen notebook).

NVidia is ahead in terms of Linux support. I also did not take a very strong graphics card, a 1050TI, and I took that because it has a fanless varinate. It has a really big heat sink, and a big fan sitting in the side of the case blows on it. This is almost inaudible even while gambling.

I'm not the Blender Cycles Pope, so I did not take any more performant graphics, you can take a stronger card there, it's only determined by your purse.

8700K
1080 Ti
16 - 32 GB Ram
SSD

This is perfect for all Adobe applications and for 3D programs such as Maya, Cinema4D and Blender.

And SoT I play on Mystic graphics on my 4k monitor at 70+ fps.

(That was my first system.) At the moment I have two 1080 Ti and one water cooling, but that costs more than 3000 euro, for the beginning the listed components are quite sufficient.)
