Remove Firefox search bar?

With my Windows 10 laptop there's always a Firefox search bar at the top of the homescreen, does anyone know how to make it away?

Since you have probably "caught" something with a download. Take a look in the Control Panel under Programs & Features and uninstall everything that doesn't seem kosher to you.
