Mozilla Firefox problems laptop?

I had the hard drive from my laptop the day before yesterday replaced by a newer Samsung SSD. I tried to clone with the Samsung software, but it didn't really work. So I took the software from Aomei and then the Windows ran quickly and stably again. Unfortunately the Firefox causes problems without end. Have now made all updates from Windows. Hence everything up to date. I also tried different versions of Firefox and uninstalled them correctly beforehand. If I have completely reinstalled, I can use Firefox without problems. As soon as I shut down the laptop and then turn it on again and click on the Firefox icon to start, Windows 10 hangs completely. I can only move the mouse, which doesn't really work anymore. Hence the question of what exactly can be the cause of this hunger for performance in Firefox? I haven't had any problems with Edge and Chrome yet. The laptop is an Asus X72D.

Before replacing the hard disk, I had no problems with Firefox. Because of the age, the system was very sluggish overall, but this is not the case up to now except for the Firefox problem.

If anything else is needed for data, I can indicate this accordingly.

Yes, this has been said to me a few times, but unfortunately it doesn't really help me, but there must be a cause for it. On the desktop PC I only use Firefox and have never had any problems. Back then also mirrored or cloned the Windows and everything ran smoothly. Could the cause be related to the graphics driver? Unfortunately I don't get any current graphics drivers. Or. Found one from 2016 but couldn't install it. The graphics card is a bit older and is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470. Windows always tells me there are newer versions, but somehow they don't get installed.
