I have the following problem:
Since an internet failure, in which my laptop searched for about an hour for the cause of the error, I can no longer connect it to the internet. Neither via Ethernet nor via WLAN. I also tried connecting to another router (even in another house), but the error message always came: "The DNS server is not responding." I have already deactivated the automatic DNS assignment and instead used the default 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4, but this did not solve my problem either. I also deactivated the complete firewall (use Norton). What else can I do there? I think it's somehow the laptop, but I can't think of a way to fix it.
Reset your network. In the Windows settings under "Network and Internet".
Unplug the router and plug it in again several times until it works again
