It is no longer supported by Microsoft
No, you should already switch to a new system. For many reasons.
Windows 10 is also a good system. I was critical of it, but I have to admit it
I have Win 7 WITHOUT antivirus on all my computers! But I don't have anything important on it. The important things are all on Stick's. Never had virus problems.
I also have Win 7 and Avira Antivir Pro, no problems so far.
Honestly? No. Even if I'm not a Windows 10 fan, it's more than virus protection. And there's hardly anything that windows 10 can't do, which windows 7 can do. With an executable system I would actually consider staying with windows 7.
As long as you never, never ever connect the computer to a network, that's pretty cool.
But then an anti-virus program would also be pretty minor.
Interesting how you can determine without malware that there's no malware.
Do you use a crystal ball or rather coffee grounds?
I would switch to Windows 10. The upgrade is still free if you have a valid Windows 7 license: https://www.chip.de/...05018.html
If you then switch off all desktop effects in Windows 10, it will even run faster than Windows 7.
