Ryzen 1000 = first generation
Ryzen 2000 = second generation
Ryzen 3000 = third generation

If you have a Ryzen 4000 in your laptop, please choose Ryzen 3000 as it is connected to Zen 2.

Only the best for me. I also assembled my PC myself.

Di

I can only recommend Ryzen 3900X, especially at the current price

Ryzen 5 3600 in the gaming PC

Then an Intel Corel i5 6300U in the Surface Pro and a Ryzen 5 3500U in the notebook. But these are secondary devices.

Intel Core i5:

i5-2520M / i5-2540M / i5-9600K

Intel Core i7:

i7-2640M / i7-6700HQ / i7-9700K

Intel Core i9:

i9-9900K

There are also some older DuoCores and one or two older CPUs from AMD.

Are they all in operation?

Dr

Yes, they are all in operation. The i5-25 and i7-2640M are in my ThinkPads, the i7-6700HQ is installed in my HP ENVY and all "K" CPUs (i5-i9) each fire a workstation. I would have to dig out the rest.

Currently an i9 9900k, but I only run it on 8x 4700 Mhz All Cores, because the high temperatures are then still with a 360 AIO water cooling, 1800 rpm. Fan, and up to 5000 rpm. Keep the pump speed at 78 to 82 degrees CPU temp if the CPU is under high load for a long time.
