Windows boots from the hard drive can anyone

I installed windows on my ssd by default. Yesterday I connected my hdd from my old laptop to the pc and then formatted it. Now it is so that when I restart the pc that my pc windows wants to boot from my hdd. I have already set in the bios that it should be the first to boot from the ssd but did not help, please.
