Hi, due to an error I was forced to reset my laptop (Windows 10) and clicked on that my personal data should be retained. Now, however, I still don't find them anywhere and I don't find any previous versions of the files or the like.
Check if there's anything else on the hard drives. And let a data recovery software run over it. (Google is your best friend there).
Did you look in the Users folder? Windows may have created a new user, then your data is in the old folder.

Import the precautionary backup. No backup, no pity.
Recuva is recommended as recovery software because there's no limit.
