Can you also use a headphone jack on a laptop so that I can connect my laptop to a projector via a jack to cinch adapter and then have a picture?
No, if you want to connect a projector, you can do this via HMDI, VGA or USB C with a hub and an HMDI or VGA connection.
I can only underline what Tranks wrote!
Jack and chinch are not for video output!
HDMI, Display Port, VGA, DVI and USB-C would be possible connections!
No, the connection can only be audio.
There are four-pin jack on 3 × chinch for stereo and video, but they were used for old cameras that can be connected to the television and also for the old iPods. They then have an extra video output in the socket.
The only modern device with the feature that still exists is the Raspberry Pi.
Since it is an analog composite signal, you don't even have DVD quality with it, the theoretical resolution is 720x576 pixels, the effective resolution is only around 360x576 pixels! Even if the laptop can output FBAS video for a television, which was current in the 1990s, then not via the audio jack and only in very poor quality!
